The International Order of Alhambra, a fraternal organization of Catholic men and women dedicated to assisting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, was founded in February 1904. The Order’s mission is to:
Porto 104 of the International Order of Alhambra was chartered as a Caravan (local chapter) in the Commonwealth of Virginia environs of the Nation’s Capital in 1956. Any practicing Catholic who is 18 years of age or older is eligible to apply for membership.
